Life and Times of Mr. Nigel

Hello, my name is Nigel. I am a dashing young lad from the Westhighlands. I'm only four months, but my maturity level is probably that of a 50 year old.

I'm so stressed out

I don't know if you have ever had to deal with gaping bloody holes in the place where your teeth should be, but let me tell you it is no picnic. For the past couple of days my teeth have been falling out like rockets - I either swallow these suckers or leave them as presents around the apartment. No matter what I chew on - nylabones, seatbelts, cellphones, books, tupperware, gola shoes , etc. the pain will not subside. And that my friends has had me in one foul mood for the past couple of days. Don't pet me, don't talk to me, don't even try to walk me, don't even look in my direction. I just want to sit and sulk and/or bark at nothing indiscriminately in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping, including the baby that lives down stairs. The only good part of my day was Uncle Brian gave me TWO new toys. One has a faux fur tail. Score!

I love art.

Today I helped Katie close a sale.

Pooch of Leisure

No I'm not dead. It's just another day of work here at the gallery. My schedule has been pretty hectic: get into work, eat, play with the doggie bagel for a half hour or so, check email, sleep, fight with my bed, go to Katie for cuddles, go to Kat for cuddles, sleep, eat, sleep, FedEx a certificate of authenticity, etc. etc. By the time I get home I too exhausted to even watch TV.

First day of work

Since I refuse to spend any time in my crate - ugly green thing - without throwing a fit, Kat took me into work today. They were installing a show by and Italian artist. I thought the work was pretty good but generally I preferred sleeping under Kat's desk while she did whatever it is she does there. Everyone seems pretty busy at this art place and I didn't really see what the big deal was. All I know is that Katie and Kat spend a lot of time complaining - well Kat, mostly.
At any rate, later in the afternoon I finally got to meet Sister and Gus and we took a walk around the block. I got a little excited with Sister back at the gallery and Kat was pretty red about it. But what can I say, I was wearing my favorite argyle sweater and feeling pretty dapper.
